Could Tiger Woods have been saved by GREEN GROWTH?

February 18, 2010

Yes. And No.

Tiger Woods should have gone with Green Growth!

Tiger Woods is angry because he didn't go green! From the Associated Press

Though Mr. Woods would still probably be in the same sticky situation today (because of his promiscuity addiction), he would probably would have had one less stitch to sew, or one less bruise to ice if only he had gone green.

Folks, I’m talking about IntelliDrive. It is a safer, smarter, and greener form of car-to-car, car-to-road, and car-to-surroundings communication. IntelliDrive can automatically stop a car within inches of crash.

That means if Tiger had been in tune with Green Growth, he could have avoided hitting that fire hydrant or running into that tree (but his wife may had still gone with plan B…).

IntelliDrive isn’t just about safety and saving Tiger Woods from (what some would say) a well-deserved karmic crash. IntelliDrive promotes Green Growth and sustainability by helping create smart travelers, smart transportation, and smart growth. IntelliDrive has the capability to interact with smart road systems and other wireless infrastructure to provide continuous real-time connectivity to all users.

Because of its ability to stream live information on current vehicle behavior on a given road, people can drive safer. With more information (for the smart traveler), someone can opt to take a different route or even stay home. This would reduce congestion and overall vehicle use. Also with the ability to communicate with any piece of wireless infrastructure IntelliDrive could tell drivers when transit may be the better option. THUS promoting sustainability and Green Growth.

So what’s the lesson? Going green can save the Earth AND your butt (if you’ve been naughty like Tiger).

Tiger, thanks for the lesson on Green Growth. But don’t do it again.
